Lukasz has been with us since 2007, and has a keen interest in surgery, feline medicine, reproduction and poultry work. Much of his spare time is spent taking care of his own pets, Grace, Poppy and Daisy.
Geoff joined our team in 2013, and returned to the fold in 2025 after a few years away. He particularly enjoys surgery, cardiology and ophthalmology. Outside of work, he likes keeping fit through cycling, running and rock climbing, walking his dog and spending time with his wife and children.
Before joining us in 2017, Sarah owned a village shop and post office with her husband. She has also previously worked as a police officer, owned and cooked at a restaurant in Spain and been a partner in her family’s bakery. Outside of work, she enjoys riding her horse, walking and spending time with her family.
Laura joined the team in 2013, and enjoys consulting and getting to know all the pets that come through our doors. She has a dog of her own called Bruce, and enjoys spending her free time reading, walking and having fun with her family.
Nikki worked at a small animal clinic in Hailsham before joining us in 2024, and loves getting to know our lovely patients and their unique personalities. She also has a passion for emergency and critical care, surgical work and internal medicine. When she’s not working, she enjoys dancing, pilates and spending time with her family and their dog, Sanza.
Ollie studied at the Royal Veterinary College and joined us in 2024. He has a passion for surgery and senior pet care, and has a cat called Sage who he adopted in his third week at the practice. When he’s not working, he loves running, crocheting and collecting vinyl records.
Petra joined the Senlac team in 2021, and has been a vet for 27 years since graduating from the University of Liverpool. Her favourite parts of her job are performing soft tissue surgery and helping to keep our inpatients comfortable. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, horse riding and being with her family, as well as taking care of her dog, Jenson, and cat, Violet.
Tim joined our practice in 1981, shortly after graduating. He loves interacting with our clients and their pets, and finds it fascinating to see what everyone at the practice is working on! His hobbies include exercising and gently winding up his friends and colleagues. He also has a menagerie of pets at home, which includes cats, chickens, sheep and horses (and his children)!
Originally from Italy, Valeria studied in Canada and later worked as an equine vet in Australia, before moving to the UK and joining us in 2024. Her favourite part of her job is being able to help dogs feel more at ease and offering advice to clients, and her clinical interests include internal medicine, imaging and surgery. She has six cats, as well as a dog back home in Italy. Her diverse hobbies include skiing, horse riding, scuba diving, playing tennis, travelling and photography.
Danielle has worked in vet practices since she was 18, and joined our team in 2020. Her favourite parts of her role are taking blood samples, chatting to our clients and working with our team. Outside of work, she loves family time, being outside with her dogs, taking care of her pet cat and pottering around in the garden.
Danni has been a registered veterinary nurse for over 25 years and joined the practice in 2023. She especially enjoys running our nurse clinics, where she gets to interact with our clients and their pets. When she’s not working or running around after her four children, she loves reading, watching rugby and walking her dog, Willow.
Melissa joined the team in 2017 and has been our head nurse for over 10 years, during which time she has developed a keen interest in physiotherapy and laser therapy. Outside of work, she enjoys riding her horse and walking her dog, Chili, as well as spending time with her friends and family.
Janet worked in restaurant management and as a groom at a show jumping yard before joining our team in 2008, and has spent time travelling around Australia. She loves the unpredictable nature of her role and has many pets of her own, including dogs, cats, cows, horses, chickens and sheep! When she’s not working, she loves horse riding, farming and relaxing with her family.
Fiona worked as a bank manager before joining us in 2018, and loves solving problems and helping to make stressful situations a little easier for our patients and clients. Outside of work, she is a keen horse rider and a proud horse owner.
